Rocktober at The Argyros
During the month of October, The Argyros is presenting a series of iconic concert films. Join us each Friday night in the spacious, socially-distanced Tierney Theater for a Rock and Roll journey through the past five decades of American music.

The Washington Cafe and the Tierney Theater are open to the public during film screenings.
Dennis & Phyllis Washington Cafe • Open Fridays 6:30pm – 10pm
The cafe includes a full espresso bar, beer & wine. Socially distanced seating is available both in the cafe and outside on the patio.

We are now open with COVID safety precautions in place.
The Tierney Theater and Bailey Family Studio spaces are available to rent for private parties, film screenings and smaller events.
State of the art live streaming equipment is also available for virtual non-profit fundraisers or business conferences.
We have made every effort to protect our residents, visitors and staff by introducing new hours and enhanced visitor guidelines.

The Last Waltz
October 2, 2020
On Thanksgiving Day, 1976, The Band gave its farewell concert at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom. On hand to help say goodbye to this influential rock group were some of the most acclaimed musicians of the late 1960s and ’70s. Filmed by Martin Scorsese, this documentary features standout performances by rock legends such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell and Muddy Waters, as well as interviews tracing the group’s history and discussing road life.

Young Dubliners
October 16, 2020
After thirty years as one of the world’s leading Celtic Rock bands, the boys have begun work on their tenth studio album. With a solid line up and a new batch of songs to play live, Young Dubliners will visit The Argyros on October 16 for two socially distanced shows!

Madonna Truth or Dare
October 17, 2020
A behind-the-scenes look at the iconic and controversial entertainer Madonna’s relationships with her dancers and crew during her 1990 “Blond Ambition” tour, with concert clips and black-and-white off-stage footage. The film is an intimate glimpse into the boundary-pushing singer’s drive and individuality.

Shine a Light
October 23, 2020
Martin Scorsese’s glowing rockumentary about the Rolling Stones is a medley of concert performances, interviews and backstage footage of “The World’s Greatest Rock-and-Roll Band.” Filmed over a two-day period at the Beacon Theater in New York, this tour documentary features the band as they prepare to go onstage and archive interviews.

Backed by a band and a full orchestra, Bruce Springsteen performs all 13 songs from his new album `Western Stars,’ touching on themes of love, loss, loneliness, family and the passage of time.
